Case filed for inciting religious sentiments against MP Afzal Ansari

MP Afzal Ansari, who made controversial remarks about Mahakumbh bath, has once again been booked at Shadiabad police station on the night of 13 February for hurting religious sentiments.
According to the police, former chairman of District Cooperative Bank Devprakash Singh has filed a report against Ghazipur MP Afzal Ansari at Shadiabad police station. He complains that on February 12, the birth of Ravidas ji was being celebrated at Shadiabad intersection at Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji Janseva Sansthan Trust Shadiabad. The chief guest of this program was MP Afzal Ansari.
He has made an indefinite comment about Mahakumbh during his speech. Due to which the religious sentiments of people who believe in him and Sanatan Dharma have hurt. Shadiabad police has filed a case report against MP Afzal Ansari in Section-299, 253 (2) of BNS. Police said that a case has been registered in this case, further necessary action is being taken.
It is worth noting that even before this, MP Afzal Ansari had given a statement on the consumption of sages on Mahakumbh, a case was also registered in that case.
