Fierce fire in Indonesian sea, fireball with 280 passengers

On the coast of Indonesia, a ship full of 280 people caught fire, leaving the nervous passengers jumped into the sea. The video of this incident is viral on social media, in which the ship is seen completely surrounded by flames and black smoke is rising in the sky. Three people have been reported to have died and 18 people were reported injured in this accident. This ship, who was a victim of the accident, is named KM Barcelona VA.

The fire broke out on Sunday afternoon at around 1.30 pm local time. In the viral video, nervous passengers can be seen, some of whom are seen leaping into the sea to avoid fire with their children. In this horrific footage, passengers are seen wearing bright orange life jackets and jumping into the water and the fire is spreading rapidly in the ship. Three big ships named KM Barcelona III, KM Venecian and KM Cantika Lestari 9F were immediately sent to the spot.

In another footage, crowds are visible on the ship’s deck and employees are seen helping passengers to tie a life jacket before jumping from the boat. The flames burnt the ship completely from inside to outside. This blue and white colored ship was turned into black debris. According to reports, so far 18 people have been confirmed to be injured, although some people are still reported missing, which are being searched. Jerry Harmansina, secretary of the North Sulawesi Regional Disaster Management Agency, told the local news outlet Detro that the fire started near Talis Island.

The cargo ship was drowned with 3000 trains
Earlier this month, a cargo ship named ‘The Morning Midas’ was drowned in the Pacific Ocean after a fire. About 3000 vehicles were loaded on this ship, of which about 800 were electric vehicles. In the photographs shared by the American Coast Guard, a large smoke was seen rising from the electric vehicle -filled deck in the back of the ship, after which the shipping company Jodiyak Maritime confirmed this in a statement. Nothing could be done to save this ship and it got into the sea with 3000 vehicles.
