Encounter between security forces and terrorists in Kishtwar, Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists are feared to be hiding

An encounter between terrorists and security forces has started in Dachhan area of Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. According to preliminary information, a group of terrorists associated with terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed are feared hiding in the area. The security forces have surrounded the area on the basis of information and the search operation is going on. It is being told that some terrorists are hiding and security forces have surrounded them from all sides.

According to the news agency, officials said that the encounter started when the police and the army started a search operation in the Khanku forest between Dachhan and Nagaseni on the basis of intelligence. During the search operation, the terrorists hiding in the forest started firing on seeing the security forces. In response, the security forces also fired bullets while handling the front. The encounter lasted for some time, although no one was reported to have been injured or casualties. According to the officials, additional security forces have been sent to the area and the operation is still going on. Security forces are trying to catch or inactivate the terrorists hiding in the forest.

Tight action of security forces
A day before the encounter incident in Kishtwar, on Saturday, the counter-intelligence wing of the Jammu and Kashmir Police took major action in a very sensitive case related to terrorist funding and recruitment module and detained 10 suspects from Srinagar, Pulwama, Badgam and Ganderbal districts. All these are accused of coordinating, financing and executing terrorist activities on the instructions of Pakistan.

Big revelations in investigation
Investigation revealed that all these suspects were in constant contact through a special encrypted messaging application. This application was being used by terrorist organizations for recruitment, funding and coordination of attacks. The entire network was operating Pakistan-based terrorist handler Abdullah Ghazi, which is connected to organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed.
