New Delhi
If you are thinking of dealing with any urgent work related to the post office in Delhi on 21 July, then you may have to stop one day. The Department of Posts (India Post) issued a press release on July 19, informing that some major post offices in Delhi will remain closed for the public on July 21 (Sunday). On this day there will be no public transaction in these branches, as the computer system here is being upgraded to the new software version APT 2.0.

Why will the post office be closed?
According to the Department of Posts, this technical upgrade is being done with the aim of making digital services more better, faster and safe. With the help of new APT 2.0 platform, customers will be able to get convenient and modern services. Data migration, system testing and other technical procedures will be done during this period, due to which these post offices will be kept offline for one day on July 21.
