In the monsoon session of Parliament, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju strongly criticized the opposition parties. He accused the opposition of “wasting tax money” and deliberately disrupting the House’s proceedings during the current session. Kiren Rijiju said in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday that it was decided in the meeting that ‘Operation Sindoor’ would be discussed first. Time has also been fixed for this. How is it possible to discuss all the issues together? Nevertheless, instead of cooperating, they brought placards and disrupted the proceedings of the House. They perform placards against the rules all the time, it is condemnable. While it was decided in the Business Advisory Committee that the posters, banners would not come to the House.
He further said, “It is objectionable to disrupt the House with a poster-banner, he (opposition) is demanding discussion and we are ready for it. Then why is he not allowing the House to run? This double criterion is wrong. If you want the discussion, do not make a ruckus. People are ruining the time of the House. I want to make a ruckus for two days.
The second day of the monsoon session of Parliament also got upset. The House’s proceedings were repeatedly interrupted due to the uproar of the opposition. The opposition demanded discussion on issues such as special intensive revision (SIR), Pahalgam attack and resignation of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar in Bihar. After which the House was postponed for the whole day due to uproar.
