New Delhi
All -party meeting was called by the government on Sunday before the monsoon session of Parliament. In this, the opposition raised various issues including revision of the voter list in Bihar and the Pahalgam terror attack. The government sought cooperation from the opposition parties for the smooth operation of the House. Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh said that he raised the issue of US President Donald Trump’s claim on the alleged election scam of Voter List (SIR) in Bihar and the arbitration of the ceasefire between India and Pakistan in the meeting. He said in response to a question that India alliance is only for Lok Sabha elections and AAP assembly elections are contesting on their own.
Samajwadi Party MP Ram Gopal Yadav said, ‘The country is now full of issues but I have talked about raising 4 very important issues. First- The terrorist attack in Pahalgam and the way the Lieutenant Governor said that it was intelligence failure, this is a very serious matter and it should be discussed. Second- When the operation was running vermilion, the US President said that I have stopped the war. Yesterday he also said that 5 jets were dropped. Third- India’s foreign policy has completely failed. Foreign policy is successful when the number of our friendly countries increases and the number of enemy countries decreases. No country of the world supported us on the incident of Operation Sindoor or Pahalgam. Now no one is with us. It is necessary to discuss it. The most dangerous thing is that democracy is going to end completely. The way the SIR of the voter list is happening in Bihar, they are all watching. The names of crores of people are being cut in Bihar. These are some serious things and I do not think the government will discuss it.
BJD MP raised the issue of law and order
After attending the all -party meeting, BJD MP Sasmit Patra said, ‘The situation in Odisha is very serious. Women and girls are continuously attacking. The truth is that today the BJP government of Odisha is completely disabled, failed and there is no control over the law and order situation in the state, due to which the law and order in the state is collapsing. Heinous crimes against women and girls are increasing day by day. Therefore, we will raise all these issues in Parliament, among other issues of the state. We are with the opposition on all issues, we are with them for whatever discussion the opposition wants. ‘
