The British Royal Navy fighter aircraft flew home from Thiruvananthapuram Airport on Tuesday. The fighter aircraft stayed at the airport for a month due to technical fault. Airport sources said that the British fighter aircraft F-35B aircraft had been fully fixed on Monday. The aircraft then took clearance to return home. A month ago, there was an emergency landing at the International Airport in Thiruvananthapuram. The incident came into the limelight due to the failure of F-35B of the world’s advanced fighter aircraft. The aircraft had to make emergency landing on 14 June.

The statement of the British High Commission has come to light when the fighter aircraft repaired the return to indigenously. A spokesperson of the High Commission said that the British F-35B aircraft landed on 14 June after an emergency change. On Tuesday, Thiruvananthapuram left from the International Airport. The spokesman said that the British engineering team, posted from July 6, had completed repair and security checks, allowing the aircraft to provide active service again. What happened before the return?
The British fighter aircraft flew the F-35B Lightning fighter aircraft to Darwin, Australia at 10.50 am. Earlier on Monday, the aircraft was taken out of the hangar and kept in the airport bay. It was then believed that the aircraft would now fly. The British Royal Navy’s F-35b Lightning Fighter aircraft is part of the UK’s most advanced stealth fleet. The F35B of the world’s most advanced fighter aircraft is much higher. According to an estimate, the price is more than US $ 110 million.
The aircraft F-35B was on a regular flight over the Arabian Sea under the joint maritime practice on the night of 14 June. Emergency landing had to be done at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport in Kerala due to bad weather and low fuel. After the landing, there was a technical fault in the jet, due to which it could not return.
This 918 crore aircraft is part of the UK’s Royal Navy’s HMS Prince of Wales Career Strike Group. It is considered one of the most advanced fighter jets worldwide.

F-35 Jet, known as Lightning, is a F-35 model known as Lightning in British Service, Fighter Jet’s short take off/vertical landing (Stovl) variant. It is designed to operate from short-field base and air capable ships.
The f-35B is the fifth generation only fighter jet, with a capacity of flight and vertical landing from small air pattty. Which makes it ideal for operating with small decks, simple bases and ships.
F-35B has been developed by Lockheed Martin Company. This plane was started to be made from 2006. It has been included in the US Air Force since 2015.
It is the most expensive aircraft in the history of Pentagon. The US spends an average of $ 82.5 million (about Rs 715 crore) on an F-35 fighter plane.
