A case of fake CBI Red has come to light on the lines of Bollywood film ‘Special 26’ in Delhi. The thugs, who came as a fake CBI officer, raided the builder’s house in Wazirabad area and then took the family hostage and cheated three lakh rupees and 8 tole gold ornaments. The police have arrested three people, including the victim’s female relative.
DCP Raja Banthia said on Sunday that the victims live in Wazirabad area along with Ishrat Jamil family. Ishrat is a builder by profession and was at home with his wife and two daughters on the night of 10 July. Meanwhile, three men, including a woman wearing white shirt and black pants, forcibly entered the house. The three men covered with their mouths took the family hostage. One called himself CBI officer Sunil Dubey and said that there is a warrant to investigate the victim’s house. However, when the victim asked to show the warrant, he threatened him by abusing him.
Buyed hostage for about two hours
The victim said that the family was held hostage for about two hours. During this time, the three searched the entire house and broke the lock of the cupboard and took out cash and jewelry kept in it. The accused also gave receiving on the school register of the victim’s daughter. After the miscreants left, the scared victim builder informed the police.
Clue from bike number on scanning about two hundred cameras
DCP Raja Banthia said that SI Sartaj Khan’s team started the investigation. Footage of about two hundred CCTV cameras was searched. The crooks involved in the incident came on a bike with a fake number plate. The way the bike came and departs through CCTV footage was searched by the police. SI Sartaj found the real registration number of the bike which was recorded in the name of Shaina, resident of Karawal Nagar. On the basis of this information, on Friday, Shayana and Keshav Prasad from Mussoorie and Vivek from Haridwar were arrested.
Case to settle family
The police officer said Shaina and Keshav wanted to marry each other. But under the pressure of the family, Keshav opened a shop in Haridwar. Shaina needed money to marry Keshav and settle his family. He was aware of the financial status of a distant relative Israt. So Shaina prepared a plan to loot there with Keshav. Keshav also included his neighbor Vivek in it. During interrogation, it was found that after the incident, the money was divided and Keshav bought goods for his shop. After this, he spent money to roam the hotel.
It was expected to be ten million rupees
Shaina hoped that Ishrat’s house would have kept about one million cash. He did not even know the right address of Ishrat’s house. He was aware that he was aware of the street number, mosque, lift and flat on the top floor. Based on this, the three men reached the victim’s house.
Animal lover and tutor is Shaina
The police officer said that Shaina lives in Karawal Nagar. People nearby said that she is an animal lover and the ointment of the injured animals. Apart from this, local children also teach tuition.
