The 10th Anubhavrat Trust Nidhi Lecture was organized at Ambedkar International Center on behalf of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and All India Anubhavrat Trust in New Delhi. On this occasion, RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat spoke on ‘world problems and Indianness’. He said that problems are discussed, but the measures are less discussed. World is surrounded by problems. We are sitting in the modern era. The history taught to us is taught by the West.
There is no idea about India in the world
Bhagwat said that ideas about India are not commonly found, even if India is on the map, not in ideology. The problems on which the idea has been held for thousands of years, they also tried, but the problem remained the same. The global list of problems is 2000 years old. Home, family, nation, person etc. have any problem, the first problem is ‘sorrow’. Said that efforts were made to remove sorrows, some sorrows also went away.
Happiness increased, but sorrows are there
If he gave a speech a hundred years ago, there was no loudspeaker. Now speech is easy, so the speech has also become long. Earlier, if you had to speak loudly, then in 10 minutes the matter had to be finished. Earlier, there was a padyatra to move here and there, now it is easy to go to America. Science increased amenities, but sorrows are there. Who is not sad? Begging or millionaire begging on the way, all will count their respective sorrows. The more happiness you have increased, the same is the same.
Every year the war goes on somewhere
Bhagwat said that there is discord even today. I was born in 1950, since then I have been seeing that war goes on every year. Discord leads to loss, bloodshed and life loss, but still the same experience is repeated again and again.
After the first World War, he wrote books of peace, made the League of Nation, but the second World War was also made and then UNO. Now we are wondering whether the third great war will be? Did peace come?
Knowledge has increased, but ignorant has also increased
He said that ignorance is also a problem. Did he go away? Ignorance has changed its form. Today there are talks of Moon, Mars, Chromosome, what a person cannot do. Just a creature remains, knowledge has increased, as well as the number of ignorant people has increased. I do not know how much well educated.
