The High Court has ordered the restoration of the status quo after hearing on Thursday in the merger case of primary schools in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. The High Court heard the petition filed by the children of Sitapur. After this, in view of irregularities in the merger process, the status quo was ordered to maintain the status quo on the merger of schools in Sitapur.
The next date for hearing on the petitions has been fixed on 21 August. A division bench of Chief Justice Arun Bhansali and Justice Jaspreet Singh gave the order after hearing. The order of the High Court has brought great relief to the children of Sitapur.
