Various complaints of citizens were heard and 15 complaints were immediately resolved at the Janata Durbar held on Sunday at the public welfare office of Union Minister Piyush Goyal. MP Piyush Goyal said that our effort is to solve the problems of citizens. During this time complaints related to the Municipal Corporation, MHADA, Housing Society and Police Department came to light. Union Minister Piyush Goyal interacted directly with the citizens through Delhi through online and discussed local issues.
On this occasion, MP Goyal gave clear instructions to the officials of the concerned departments to resolve the problems of citizens quickly. Many citizens presented their complaints and requests in this Janata Durbar held at the Lok Kalyan office in Kandivali. In some cases, immediate action was given and relief was provided.
The women of Bandongri region lodged a complaint regarding changes in the time of water supply. She said that she works in homes and makes her livelihood and due to the change of water supply by the municipality, she is facing serious problems. On this, Goyal assured that an attempt would be made to restore the old time by contacting the water department. Meanwhile, residents affected by Dahisar’s redevelopment project also shared their problems. He said that he has been living in rented houses for the last 14 years, while the developers have given their original houses to others. On this, Goyal clearly stated that you have been cheated, you should file a complaint with the police.
Apart from this, complaints related to cooperative housing society, hospital, road repair, drinking water, playground, compensation etc. were also registered. Officials of many institutions and organizations also joined the Janata Durbar with their demands.
In a special context, Mansukh Jadhav, a resident of Charkop Sector-8, came to the Janata Durbar and expressed personally gratitude to MP Goyal. He was described as more expenses by the hospital for cardiovascular surgery, which he was upset, but he got free treatment from the intervention of the Public Welfare Office. For this, he came to the court and thanked her heartfelt.
North Mumbai BJP District President Deepak Tawde, former corporator Ganesh Khankar and many officials and activists were present in the Janata Durbar. MP Piyush Goyal said, “Our effort is to solve the problems of citizens. Every complaint coming to the public welfare office is taken seriously and decisions are taken in coordination with the concerned departments. My team also continues to follow up.”
