Winter session from 8 December in Nagpur, monsoon session concludes

The monsoon session of the Maharashtra Legislature finally ended, amidst chaos, uproar, outfit, clash and other such incidents between the opposition, and other such incidents. The session lasted three weeks. Announcing the termination of the session, Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar said that the winter session of the Legislature will now be held in Nagpur on Monday, December 8. In relation to the date of the winter session, a proposal Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan will be sent. Narvekar also announced that the monsoon session is being postponed according to the message given by the Governor.
Reviewing the proceedings of the session, he said that during this time a total of 15 meetings were held and a total of 133 hours 48 minutes were done, while 45 minutes were wasted. The average daily work was 8hr 55 minutes. It includes a congratulatory proposal, seven condolences, 8277 starred questions, 579 sanctioned questions, 92 top questions, 8 suggestions, 8 rejected suggestions, 7 discussions, 181 suggestions on topics of public importance, 42 sanctioned suggestions, 42 sanctioned suggestions, out of which only five were discussed. 14 government bills were introduced in the Assembly. 15 Bills agreed, while one was withdrawn. 2481 remarkable suggestions were received from the legislators, out of which 511 were approved and 152 suggestions were directly discussed.
