Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla has said that yoga is helpful in keeping the body healthy. By including yoga in the routine, we can keep our health right. When we are healthy only then we will be able to discharge our responsibilities in family, society and public life with full efficiency. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla performed collective yoga with senior administrative officials, teachers, local citizens and a large number of students on the 11th World Yoga Day at the ground of Martand School Ground Rewa. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla pledged to the students and attendees to include yoga in his daily day.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that we are proud that our ancient yoga tradition has been recognized globally. Maharishi Patanjali informed the country and society about yoga. At present, Baba Ramdev worked to bring this genre from door to door. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi worked to make it worldwide and people are adopting it by doing yoga on Yoga Day all over the world. India considers the whole world as family. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla wished everyone to be healthy on Yoga Day.

The attendees saw and heard the live address of Prime Minister Shri Modi from Visakhapatnam. The address of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav from Bhopal was also aired live in the state level program. Former Mayor Shri Virendra Gupta, Commissioner Rewa Division Mr. BS Jamod, IG Shri Gaurav Rajput and officers, teachers, representatives of voluntary organizations, police officers attended Yoga.
